STATEMENT ON THE CONGRESO DEL PARTIDO-2011

The Partido Nacional La Raza Unida-PNLRU celebrated its Congreso 2011 on October 8, 2011. The Congreso was organized with the continual commitment and resolution to our struggle for self-determination and national liberation. Emphasizing that as a people we initiated our resistance in 1492 and as the La Raza Unida Party we advanced it in 1969 with the call to organize our own political party by Rodolfo Corky Gonzales at the First liberation Youth Conference in Denver Colorado March 26, 1969.

As we celebrated our congreso-2011 we did it understanding that liberation will be ours and that our Congreso has move forward that awaited dream of liberation. We know that the only people with the potential to challenge this corrupt abusive consumer capitalist society is the Chicano People/Raza of AZTLAN. We also acknowledged that our power is our people, Chicanos, Raza in general. Our Movement has harnessed our power in Chicano Revolutionary Nationalism guided by the principles of Scientific Socialism. The National La Raza Unida Party is a serious organization and believes that only as an organized and united people will we be able to advance our movement, we also hold to the position that since we are a peoples movement that the responsibility to advance our movement and our cause for National Liberation fall on each and every single one of us.

There are no more excuses you are either struggling for the liberation of AZTLAN or NOT!

With the organization of LRUP (La Raza Unida Party) having degenerated to these depths, I’m almost embarrassed to admit that I was once associated with it. Nevertheless, I am proud of the work I did with the Partido when it was a serious organization (if it was serious and if it was taken seriously, Xenaro would not feel it necessary to proclaim to the world that “The National La Raza Unida Party is a serious organization….”) and run by people who were real serious organizers. When I was involved, the leaders for the most part were grounded in the day to day reality of the struggles of normal people, like immigrants who worry about feeding their families, keeping their jobs, and not getting deported. If it was a “serious” organization it would also not send out a document like this without it being spell-checked and edited for grammar, whether it was in Espanol or Ingles. Note that the way it appears above, to make reading easier, I separated the paragraphs; it’s not like that in the original.

What really takes the cake, and why it is apropos of calling attention to the Beatles, is LRUP’s statement that:

“Our Movement has harnessed our power in Chicano Revolutionary Nationalism guided by the principles of Scientific Socialism.”

If this went on in the African American community, where I tend to be just as involved as I am with Chicano/Mexicano/Latino issues and causes, anybody who said stuff like this would get a hearty “Negro Pleeeeaassse” out of the audience. My black readers will understand where I’m going with this. My Chicano readers should comment for the best Chicanismo equivalent of the concept. Some years ago I came up with a cross cultural definition of this level of stupidity which I abbreviate as P.I.A.M.F. which stands for a Pendejo Ignorant Ass Mother F-ker!

As this is my fifth blog on the general topic of LRUP, you might think at this point, ’nuff said. However, there is more to come….just hold your horses (caballos), wait with baited breath, and hold onto your pantalones….next blog on LRUP will be talking about what others have recently told me that they witnessed in the organization. While they can speak freely as they are no longer under the cult’s trance, they are actually physically frightened to speak out publicly and their reasons will be made plain enough in my next writing.
