Leonard Weinglass R.I.P.

Leonard Weinglass

Leonard Weinglass just died. He represented my (now deceased) friend Tony Russo for a time during his Pentagon Papers prosecution and was involved time and again in politically charged defense cases like the Chicago 7 trial, Angela Davis, and Kathy Boudin. He was for a long time one of the colorful lawyers who had their offices in the Bradbury Building in downtown Los Angeles.

Rest In Peace, Leonard.
