How Does DOJ Select Vendors?

My regular readers will recall the various blog entries I’ve done here concerning Ed Saucerman, Rick Von Geldern, and how they had issued a public challenge to CALI to investigate its own board. To reiterate, I countered with asking them to investigate the then-board of PICA to see if any of its members had skeletons in their own closets. See the blog especially at:

So, in the spirit of vetting “leaders” in the private investigative industry, this is my latest attempt to verify the credentials of Ed Saucerman:

California Public Records Act Request

Pursuant to Section 6250 et seq of the California Government Code I am requesting copies of all writings as defined in Evidence Code Section 250 and Government Code Section 6252(f) that constitute:

The policies, procedures, rules, regulations and guidelines of the California Department of Justice (DOJ) that govern whether, if, and how Deputy Attorney Generals are allowed to provide written, public, testimonials for independent contractors;

Any and all documents that may be public concerning the prosecution described by DAG Karen Louise Gordon, SBN #137969 in the following testimonial listed at http://www.thetitanpi.com/Testimonials.html by Private Investigator Ed Saucerman:

Testimonials from Real Clients

Government Agency:

“I contacted The Titan Group because The State of California needed litigation support for a case, wherein their investigators captured a licensed social worker sexually assaulting a client on hidden video.” I requested follow up with The Titan Group so I could prosecute the person and revoke his state occupational license during a due process hearing.”

“Due to the quick response and properly documented report and video evidence, I was able to obtain a favorable outcome for the State of California. This cutting edge evidence and support ensured this person would not be able to assault any other persons in need of state social services.”

Karen G.

Deputy Attorney General

State of California

Any writings demonstrating how Private Investigator Ed Saucerman was vetted for the assignment described in #2, above.

Thanking you for your prompt attention, I remain,

Respectfully Yours, Jan B. Tucker
