Tucker & Associates also is part of a team that works under the auspices of the San Fernando Valley/Northeast Los Angeles Chapter of the National Organization for Women (SFV/NELA NOW) that provides employers with training in the prevention of on the job harassment and discrimination as
mandated by California Government Code Section 12950.1.  Jan B. Tucker -- who was the principal drafter of AB 1617 in the 2003-2004 legislative session, is available as an expert witness on the investigation, prevention, and mediation of workplace harassment and discrimination.

Background Investigations --
With extensive experience at background investigations and by keeping up with ever-changing legal requirements, we engage in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and California Investigative Consumer Reporting Act compliant background investigations for the hiring, promotion, and transfer of employees or
for other legitimate purposes.  

NOTE:  knowledge of FCRA/ICRA requirements by the investigator are critical to keep an employer out of trouble; violations of the federal and state notice and other regulatory
requirements can trigger severe civil penalties even if the client was unaware of the technical violations.  Remember:  ignorance of the law is no excuse.

EXPERT WITNESS--Jan Tucker has qualified as an expert witness in murder trials on a wide ranging field of subjects, including issues involving Mexican and Mexican American culture, Mexican investigative and legal issues; other expert witness includes sexual harassment investigation and remediation in the workplace; private investigator ethics and procedures.

Process Service --
Jan Tucker has 33 years worth of experience under his belt in the service of process.  As a Licensed Private Investigator, he is exempt from registration as a process server under Section 22350(b)(4) of the Business & Professions Code. We will effect service in conjunction with an investigation or completely independently.
