This Blog Rocks n Rolls!

It took this blog to get to 400,005 individual page hits from 2006 when it started to November 30, 2012 as I printed on that date.

Since then, my readership has grown by leaps and bounds, even though my technical “subscribers” have only modestly increased (please actually subscribe using the link above, it makes my job of promoting the ideas expressed here a lot easier, and it enables you to post comments on the blog, which I really appreciate as do other readers). Anyway, here’re the stats as of now, nearly 56,000 hits since November 30 alone!

About Jan Tucker

The Detectives Diary is an innovative tool combining Private Investigation and Journalism. In 1984, Steve Harvey's Los Angeles Times "Around the Southland" Column entitled Jan Tucker's program of providing low-cost "Opposition Research" services to indigent and working class candidates for public office, "Take Cover: Hired Mudslinger Rides into Town." A 1996 Los Angeles Times article by Henry Chu carried a sub-headline identifying Tucker as a "P.R. Guru." In November 2012, Tucker became Criminal Justice Columnist for Counter Punch Magazine and a commentator for Black Talk Radio. As a private investigator since 1979 and a former First Vice President of Newspaper Guild Local 69, Tucker takes these skills to a new level in the pages of the Detectives Diary with insightful and unique exposures and analysis of history and current events. I did a search for LADOT discrimination (mine is toward handicap passengers) and found your blog- but while I am sending out my letters I found: Very interesting to note that NO FEMALE is employed in an executive position with LA DOT and only one is a LA City Council member yet there are 54% of registered women voters (as per League of Women Voters LA 2011) in Los Angeles; yet not represented equally? Is this also a discrimination issue? Any advise of whom to contact- I have letters into LA Times, Janice Hahn, LA Supervisor/Councilmembers/ KABC Ric Romero/ other reporters that have written on the subject/ and a few attorneys

I will be personally involved with interviewing candidates for Mayor for the Same Page Coalition endorsements on January 26, so I will personally bring up the issue with them. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
