Very glad to see that someone has the courage to take on the take over artists who have seized control of the official state party appartus of California's Peace and Freedom Party. I remember Callison from the Vietnam War days when he published a newspaper called "The Bond" which was supposed to organize armed forces personnel against the war - unfortunately Callison's elitist and ruling class background (Stanford University, UC Berkeley graduate classes) talked down to GI's and naval enlisted to the point that the paper had to be discontinued after a dozen or so issues.
As to John Thomas Condit, it's ironic that Condit was one of those who voted to expel Bill Callison from Peace and Freedom Party over the Hudiburgh imbroglio, but later took Callison back so Bill could be used as a Contra Costa satellite for Condit's sham "Alameda County Peace and Freedom Party and Movement" a misnomer if there ever was one. Condit also use to rent out a house on Grant Street in Berkeley which he then sublet (illegally) while his wife, Marsha Fineland served on the Berkeley Rent Control Board.
Condit of course is best known as the biggest redbaiter in Peace and Freedom Party - a problem which the party has never fully addressed.
